Hi! I’m Jason, a 2024 Brisbane SHS Graduate with a 99.85 ATAR, and I am currently studying Medical Science with provisional medicine entry at Griffith University. I have tutored more than 45 students in the last 4 years, and have also led a team of 200 volunteer tutors at the Brisbane SHS tutoring program.

I tutor Literature, Maths Methods, Specialist Maths, Chemistry, Physics and Engineering, receiving scores of 100 in Physics, 98 in Chemistry, 97 in Maths Methods, Specialist Maths and Engineering, and 96 in Literature.

My tutoring is different to conventional services. My services go beyond standard schoolwork assessment, assignment and exam prep and content. I focus on teaching students how to learn. I prioritise helping students focus, stay motivated and learn the foundations to learning smarter, more efficiently and the best proven methods. I help students tackle common issues like procrastination, lack of energy and motivation and drive by starting from the systems, habits and environments. These help students unlock their potential and be the best versions of themselves, often exceeding their expectations.

It's through these methods that my Year 12 students were able to achieve great results in 2025:

more than two thirds got 98+/100 on Chemistry and Physics results
some students improved scores from 68% to 95% within 3 months in Maths Methods and Specialist Maths in Year 12
One student received an offer for JCU dentistry (they were predicted for a 95 ATAR by the school before we started, and within 12 months they received a 99.60)
One student received the UNSW Co-op scholarship valued at over $21000 per year
One student received the UQ Liveris Academy Scholarship (Valued at $10000 per year)

At the end of year 11 i had a predicted ATAR of 95.45, with little knowledge of study strategies and content application. However, once I started tutoring with Jason from LLP, my results started to improve rapidly and I developed an increased confidence in my academic skills.

As a previous Support for Academic Success Leader at Brisbane State High School, I have developed curated resources that cater for a more personal learning experience that empowers academic independence and a self-directed learning approach.
